Jungian Archetypes & Dreamwork
Jungian Therapy (Doorley Therapy with Chris Doorley)— For those curious about Carl Gustav Jung‘s work, my background includes Master’s studies in ‘Jungian Dreamwork Analysis‘ with Rachel Vaughan (MFT, MA), at California’s Institute of Integral Studies ( CIIS ). I have supported a number of clients interested in Jung’s dream symbology and archetypal explorations.
Many individuals have arrived curious about such Jungian archetypes as the “Self“, “Shadow“, “Wise Old Man“, “Great Mother,” and “Trickster” * ( among others ). In fact, so many ask about archetypal symbols, dreamwork, and our collective unconscious are modalities that I’ve seen work with these concepts open up new pathways for people.
So, I facilitate this exploration for appropriate situations. If any match your personal journey, let me know if you’d like to try a free 20-minute consultation. You can reach me via my “Contact” page.
[ * Descriptions of these archetypes appear in Volume 9, Part I. of The Collected Works of C.G. Jung,
titled “The Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious“. ]

Jungian Therapy, Chris Doorley—
I’d like to acknowledge that aspects of Jungian Therapy— archetypes, symbols from the Collective Unconscious, and dream-work— can relate to Narrative Therapy. Therefore, if you feel like exploring any of these modalities I’m happy to offer Free Consultations. You may schedule that via the link. Instead, if you would prefer to send me an email with a more detailed description of what brings you to therapy, you can reach me via my Contact page. I’m very curious to hear what you consider to be effective parts of your psychotherapy vision.
